good idea
When ordering with a proof, it would be nice if you could ship the proof with a code on the back. If we accept the proof, we can just enter the code online via our account order status. This would save some cost, as well as make the turn around much faster.

Inappropriate?That is a good idea.
Yet, we use the proofs when we send the job to print, so our pressmen can use it to determine the EXACT color.
Gang run printing won't EVER look exact unless there is a color proof to work with.
